Splendid instrument Giovan Battista Fabricatore (Naples 1794), an important Neapolitan guitar builder. Table in spruce decorated with mother-of-pearl and 'affogata' with red french polish. Handle inlaid with the typical 'motico a strisce' in bone and rosewood with fingerboard and pallet covered in tortoise-shell. One of di osso e palissandro con tastiera e paletta ricoperte in tartaruga. One of the oldest instruments by this guitar builder and one of the first examples of a simple 6-stringed guitar.
