1969 Marino Capicchioni Violin - 2G015
This violin which was built by Marino Capicchioni Marino is in an excellent state of preservation.
The base/fondo is made of two pieces of Balkan maple and the table is in spruce, which is characteristic of Capicchioni's instrument production.
The instrument is made according to a Guarnieri model which has been personally interpreted by Capicchioni. An analogous instrument was used by the famous violinist Menuhin.
