Lovely mandolin produced in a typical neapolitan style, probably constructed for the export market. Typical shape, extensively decorated and featuring original mechanics in mother-of-pearl 'su lastrina' in decorated brass.

Casing in rosewood slats/staves, spruce table with mother-of-pearl decorations; keyboard in ebony with floral decorations in mother-of-pearl as featured on the 'paletta'. Extended keyboard for solo player.
