Neapolitan Mother-of-Pearl Mandolin - 1E018

Nice mandolin produced in Naples for export purposes. The keyboard features an extended finger-board and is covered in mother-of-pearl which merges with the border decoration of the table!

The shell is made in rosewood staves with fine inserts in maple. Encased mechanics in silver, similar to those produced by Vinaccia. The 'Paletta' is decorated with mother-of-pearl inlays.
