Giuseppe Marconcini

An important Luthier from Ferrara, Northern Italy. We can assume that his year of birth was probably 1772 as can be deduced from a letter addressed to Count Cozio di Salabue in 1816. In the letter, Marconcini makes a reference to his age which at that particular moment in time was 44. He was a pupil of Storioni, from whom he adopted his style of stringed instrument production. He died in Ferrara on 17 January 1841.
